i hate it when
i hate it when
Elizabeth Hudgens
i hate it when
we the body are known
by what we despise
and so it goes
i fall into the very trap
iβm sounding off about
i do not love when
i am not known by what
delights the soul
shaped by such hostility
my little wars
on culture waged
bring very little hope
i wish i were
known instead by
all that i am for
those things that cause
my heart to thrill
a mirror of the Lordβs
