Reviving the Christian imagination... I think Protestants have really forgotten the importance of divine revelation through creation. God reveals himself so heavily through nature, in all its beauty and majesty. In art and creativity, we glorify God by reflecting back to him and the world that beauty which he has revealed himself in. That, and we glorify him as image bearers by participating in acts of creation, creating out of creation. I personally love Ekstasis because you have embraced and celebrated these truths, and you help give those of us who are creative or have artistic hearts a place to bring our God-given talents and passions a place again among the church. And a place that isn’t unimportant, trivial or downright lame!
