Why Are the Carrier Pigeons Gone?

Why Are the Carrier Pigeons Gone?

Why Are the Carrier Pigeons Gone?

Casey Spinks

Why does God let species go extinct?
Does He think eternity too long for some?
Does He get bored, and at His Word
Or lack thereof, their holdings together
Become undone?
Or does He have fun with change,
Though we work to strengthen what remains
In vain, proving we
Can’t keep eternity.
Only He can,
Yet for some He does not.
And as for me?
I worry over the thought.
