The earth has a core that no one has seen and
I am made of dust,
Wind,
a fleshy heart thatβs constricted
and spinning.
Dust settles back to dust; men return to their ways;
the Wind comes
and goes as He pleases.
The heart draws in and out,
inexorably.

Poet
Griffin's work can be found in the Cedarville Review and Havik Journal. He writes to capture rhythm and sound and recovery. When he's not writing, he may be found making dinner for his wonderful wife
