You Will Outlast

You Will Outlast

Stacia Elizabeth Littlefield

Tempo: Grave con tenerezza

You will outlast this pain,
My cloven heart
Split & splayed like mango
Dripping down

When the heartblood hits the ground
(the earth is moaning)
They hover close to gather
All my groanings

Unmute your steady screaming, Darling
Let the sorrow breathe
For tides that rise will surely fall
And every wave recede

Sunk in the Reconciler
Your pain will writhe and rest
Let Him absorb the agony
Land cruciform in death

As we outlast this pain.
