fall collection
fall collection
Isaac Akanmu
she happened ー to tremble beneath the purr of fur mink, as these skeletal frames
catwalked the valley of hades, the shadow of death. imagine two pairs of bloodstained
soles dragging puddles of sacrifice into grass we thought was greener because
i happened ー to recall the times we wore nothing but hearts for sleeves like boys of
youth. the times we wore nothing but skin cuddled by the sun’s kisses. the times we
wore nothing but nude, nothing but naked, nothing but nada. the times we wore nothing
but
we happened ー to overhear the bush meat scheming vengeance over our overcoats,
and the dirt roads scoffing at our red bottoms, and the grapevine airing our dirty laundry,
and even the crunchiest leaves of the valley mocking us with the words:
“we just love the fall collection”
