Blackflies
Blackflies
Daniel Dorman
As many as I kill β more come
From places unknown,
To find my flesh,
And make their home,
And take their fill.
Inarticulate whispers,
Sounds of hell,
Drawn to me.
A shallow well
Of little tempters.
They land on Luke
To draw my eye,
From written letters
But letters cry:
βNor does a bad tree bear good fruit.β
