How Dare You!
How Dare You!
Russell Willis
Do not shy from wrestling with God
Or one sent by God
Though you will never prevail
You may yet thrive
Humbled and strengthened
Made wary of the pitfalls
And of opportunities
Beyond your imagination to
Resist evil and persevere
And know that sometimes
You have been invited to the mat
Expected to put up a good fight
For some things that are worth fighting for
Remembering that faith is meant to be
Humble but not shy
Active, not complacent
Courageous, not full of fear
But, donβt expect to win when you dare
And your daring will provoke blessing
Upon blessing to rain down upon you
And you will be . . .
