Morning
Morning
Jolene Nolte
When I rise and find nothing new in my phone’s blue glow, I taste
something of death—the earth makes its rounds apart from me.
When I step outside, greeted by a host of fragrant green, I taste
something of life—this swirling world beckons me to savour and see.
